EY team

The members of EY+ are not only those you see below; it is rather a group of people with special abilities and interests who share the same passion: the Sea.

Sailing races triggered the core of EY+. They raced for hundreds of miles and sailed even more with a variety of offshore yachts entering the world of sailing. During this time they learned to enjoy themselves in the sea explored the Greek Seas travelling from island to island and living in the sea.

In the circle of EY+ you will find people who have raced even more and others who only fancy relaxed sailing trips; this is how EY+ has designed its thematic activities, based on this variety of interests and passions. 

From aerodynamics to gastronomy and from mountains to the sea, the routes of EY+ aim to share what we feel when we sail in the Ionian every summer.

Elias,

sails for races and for fun. During summertime, when races are not the major interest, he is found in small and quiet harbours  of Ionian. A yacht and living on it is a great combination of two fluids, water and air. He is fascinated by diving, that much that he can spend long hours there.. Repairing mechanical equipment of yachts and the boat itself has always been amongst his interests.

Panos,

his passion for sailing started with offshore sailing races at the Sailing Club of Patras in Greece. Having raced for  hundreds of miles, he has won prizes both as a skipper and as crew. He has mainly raced with offshore boats (both racing and cruising) in local, national, international and match races and also with dinghies (laser, 420, flying Dutchman). He is a mechanical engineer and spends the winter in the UK.  A real  fan of travelling, hiking in unexplored places and freediving. His passion for food and cooking drives his life onboard where he explores the Greek gastronomy with the limited options onboard! He is a skipper at EYsailing and responsible for the planning of the trips.
