Yiota
was born in the 20th of June 1988 in Patras, where she grew up. She studied Archaeology and History of Art in the University of Ioannina from where she acquired her diploma in 2012. The same year she got accepted in the postgraduate program of the University of Athens, Urban Archaeology and Architecture. Her dissertation thesis considers the design of an archaeological network in Achaea, related with Mycenaean sites. She has participated in archaeological excavations and research programs in Achaea, Epirus and the Cyclades, but also in France in the department of Bouches-du-Rhône. Her scientific interests are located in the archaeology of landscape, architecture, art and geography. Her personal interests consider culture- in its entire range, travels and tours, and last but not least yoga, that frames her everyday life in a very pleasant way.. She cooperates with EY+ and is the coordinator of the Archaeological sailing trip.
